Day 3

The Pink Granite Coast

Drive to Pleumeur-Bodou and visit the Cité des Télécoms. Discover the entire history of communication, from the Chappe telegraph to today’s high-tech smartphones. Experience a sound and light show inside the Radome—a massive white dome housing the PB1 antenna. It enabled the reception of the first live images in July 1962, marking the birth of global television broadcasting.

A walk along the Customs Officers' Path. Huge blocks of pink granite rise up amidst the Breton heath, taking on shapes resembling mushrooms, clogs, feet, bottles, and more—the magic of nature, which has sculpted these pink rocks over millions of years. Return via Paimpol.
