The Southern Luberon — the Celebrities' Route

Follow in the footsteps of Albert Camus and Marcel Pagnol through some of the Luberon's most beautiful villages. Lourmarin — one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, where Camus lived and is buried — then Grambois and Cucuron, whose shaded squares and plane trees have made them favourite locations for filmmakers.

A guided tour of historic Aix-en-Provence, one of the most elegant cities in the south of France: mansions with sumptuous facades, beautiful fountains, gardens and a wealth of monuments bearing witness to its prestigious past as the capital of Provence.

Lunch in the city centre

Free time to explore the cours Mirabeau and its cafes. A gourmet visit to the Calisson Museum to discover the history of Aix's most famous sweet — the calisson, made from Provence almonds — through the story of traditional craftsmanship and the confectioners' art, in a museum blending period tools with contemporary presentation.
