You might even spot the famous pottoks (small wild horses) and enjoy superb panoramic views and the unspoilt Basque countryside.

There are numerous hiking routes to explore, starting from the Hôtel Bonnet: La Rhune, the Kakuetta Gorges, the Jaizkibel ridges, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the coastal paths at Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz, the Holzarté suspension bridge, the Iraty Forest – Europe’s largest beech forest – the Pic du Mondarrain, the lush green hills of the Irouleguy vineyards, walks through traditional villages (Ainhoa, Espelette, Sare …), the Béarn valleys and the mountain pastures… Enjoy an exceptional hiking holiday!
