Held every five years in the heart of Rouen on the banks of the Seine, the Armada is a massive gathering of tall ships, boats and military vessels. It is one of the most important events in the maritime world. The next edition of the Armada de la Liberté will take place from 17 to 27 June 2027, giving visitors the chance to admire the most prestigious vessels and greet the crews. Amidst the excitement of a unique atmosphere, visitors can approach and board the historic sailing ships moored along the quays, and take part in a host of activities: crew parades, a sailors’ mass, fireworks, concerts… And, to round off the festivities, they can admire the majestic sailing ships – true giants of the seas – as they sail down the Seine in a massive, thirty-kilometre-long parade on their way to the sea.
